After Berlin, London, Bruxelles, Amsterdam, Budapest and Bangalore, For the first Time in Tunisia, in the Arab World and in Africa,

Droidcon is organized in Tunis, a 2-days Android Event with Barcamp day, Conferences Day & a Hackathon by Night.

Professional speakers from the fields of application development, mobile communications and handset manufacturing and other players will present hot topics of the industry and will openly discuss all questions with the participating audience at droidcon 2012 in the City of Sciences of Tunis right after the big industry events and consumer shows have revealed the latest « secrets » around Android.

Comme il y a quelques jours à Hammam-Sousse, notre communauté était invité à l’ISET de Kairouan pour l’ouverture officiel d’un nouveau club, le Club de Promotion de l’Utilisation des Logiciels Libres : CPULL. Ce club a pour objectif la promotion de l’utilisation des logiciels libres dans l’institut. L’animation de cet évènement était assurée, donc, par notre communauté conjointement à la communauté Android en Tunisie : TunAndroid.

Après le mot d’ouverture et la présentation du club CPULL, la journée a commencée par une présentation de la distribution Ubuntu incluant la définition d’un logiciel libre. Après une pause café, deux autres présentations étaient données : Le développement pour android et les applications android pour le marché Tunisien.

L’après-midi et après un déjeuné consistant il y a eu deux sessions en parallèle. D’un coté la présentation des projets de fin d’études des étudiants qui travaillent avec android et de l’autre une install party de Ubuntu 11.04. Malgré le nombre très réduit de PC, cette install party a était suivie par un grand nombre d’étudiants.

En clôture de la journée, les organisateurs et membres du club CPULL on tenus à offrir plusieurs cadeaux à tous les animateurs de la journée. Bien évidemment et quand on est à Kairouan l’un des cadeaux indispensable est le makroudh. Un grand MERCI à tous les organisateurs et bon vent pour le nouveau club.
