Activer la police Ubuntu dans WordPress
Depuis que la police de caractères Ubuntu est disponible dans google web font il est possible de l’utiliser comme police par défaut dans les pages web. Voici la démarche que j’ai appliqué pour l’activer dans mon blog propulser par WordPress.
Une édition du thème est nécessaire à travers la section “Appearance” puis “editor”
- Chercher le fichier entête de votre thème, généralement le ficher
header.php, et ajouter la ligne suivante :
<link href='http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Ubuntu:regular,italic,bold' rel='stylesheet' type='text/css'> - Chercher le fichier de style, généralement le fichier
style.css, et ajouter Ubuntu dans la liste des polices là où il convient. Par exemple :
h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6 { font-family:Ubuntu, Tahoma, Verdana, Arial, sans-serif; line-height:130%; }
Finalement il ne faut pas oublier de recharger vos pages. Pour plus de détails consulter cette page.

Tunisian LoCo meeting with Mark Shuttleworth
During the the 6th edition of the National Conference on Open Source Software in Tunisia our LoCo team scheduled a meeting with Mark. This meeting was an occasion for Tunisian LoCo members and Tunisian FOSS community members to meet Mark and discuss, during one hour, about the LoCo team activity, Ubuntu development, Unity, etc…

Mark Shuttleworth opening keynote
Here is the video of the opening ceremony of the 6th edition of the National Conference on Open Source Software in Tunisia, on December 15th 2010. This video (of one hour) includes :
– The welcome message (in Arabic, French and English) by Mrs. Lamia Chaffai Sghaier, Secretary of State for Information Technology, Internet and Open Source, Ministry of Communication Technologies, Tunisia.
– The Keynote of Mark Shuttleworth.
– The discussion following the keynote.

Badges
A l’occasion de la 6ème Conférence Nationale sur les Logiciels Libres en Tunisie, j’ai créé des badges pour les membres de notre communauté locale Ubuntu-tn. Notre communauté qui ce jours là a vu l’arriver d’un nouveau membre et non des moindres 🙂 en la personne de Mark Shuttleworth (him self). Mark a gentillement accepter de porter ce badge au cours de son keynote. Le badge est une adaptation de la carte de visite Ubuntu. Plus d’informations, de photos et de vidéos dans les prochains jours.
For the 6th National Conference on Free Software in Tunisia I created badges for members of our local community Ubuntu-tn. That day our community saw the arrival of a new member and not least 🙂 in the person of Mark Shuttleworth (HIM self). Mark has kindly accepted to wear the badge during his keynote. The badge is an adaptation of the Ubuntu business card. More information, pictures and videos as soon as possible.

L’information fait le grand buzz dans les réseaux sociaux de la communauté du Libre en Tunisie et dans les web-magazines.
